Q: How can I get a Convenience Center trash card?
A:
 Trash cards are renewed annually after August 31 at a cost of $48 each.  Available in the County Judge Executive’s Office in the courthouse throughout the year. Call (270) 265-9966 ext. 225 for additional information.

Q: Who should I contact for animal control?
A:
 Todd County does not have an animal shelter at this time.  We have contracted with the Christian County Animal Shelter to take in our stray animals through the efforts of our Animal Control Officer, Jamie Addison, although we are limited to transporting animals only on days the shelter is open.  In the interest of all parties involved, it is best to try to locate the animal’s owner before calling for a pickup.  For animal pick up please contact dispatch on the non emergency number 270-265-2501.

Q: Who do I contact about damaged roads or getting a road tile/culvert installed?
A:
 The Todd County Road Department handles the maintenance of our roadways and the installation of road tiles (culverts).  To report damage to a county roadway or to request a road tile, contact your Magistrate or call Road Foreman Scott Stokes, at (270) 265-5262.

Q: Where can I find information about marriage licenses and ceremonies?
A:
 Marriage licenses may be obtained from the County Court Clerk’s Office located at 202 Washington in Elkton, in the courthouse.  The cost is $35.50.  There is no waiting period in Todd County.  However, once the license is purchased, the marriage must take place within 30 days.
